My Story
Hi! My name is Kate Reedy and I am the owner of Goodies ‘n’ Grace! I have always loved baking and have many great memories of being in the kitchen with my family. When I was in the third grade, I joined 4-H in my county and started competing in the baking portion. For a few years baking was just a small thing I did every so often then Goodies 'n' Grace was formed. My business was established in 2017 and the journey has had many highs and some lows, but it has always brought me so much joy!
I am in my third year at Stephen F. Austin and for the past two years I have had to take a break from baking to focus on school, but I am excited to be back in the kitchen. I have absolutely loved my time in Nacogdoches and I am so thankful for the community the Lord has given me here. I am a Family and Consumer Sciences major and plan on teaching high school culinary arts. I also am involved in a local church here where I take part in our college ministry while also serving in youth ministry. I am excited to be now sharing my sweet treats with all my friends in East Texas.
Because of my supportive customers back at home, I am excited to announce that with the help of my mom I will be serving the Glen Rose/Cleburne/Granbury area again! My mom has been my number one support in learning how to run my baking business. We have spent many times together learning all things baking and I am so excited for this partnership! Thank you to all my previous customers for all your support and my mom and I are excited to make all your favorite sweet treats once again.
